Grilled Sesame Salmon

Ingredients

¼ cup light soy sauce1 ½ tablespoons honey1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger1 clove garlic, minced1 pound salmon fillets1 teaspoon sesame oil2 teaspoons sesame seeds.

Directions

  • Whisk soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic together in a bowl until the marinade is evenly mixed.
  • Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish; pour 3/4 of the marinade over the salmon. Cover the dish with cling wrap and place in the fridge.
  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Remove salmon from the fridge, shake the pieces to remove excess marinade, and place skin side up, into the heated oil and cook for 4 minutes.
  • Flip the salmon and pour over the remaining marinade; sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Cook until fish flakes easily with a fork, 5 to 7 minutes. Flip the salmon, and cook for 1 minute more.
  • Serve with crispy salad for a delicious healthy meal.
